Getting There

How can I get to the camp?
  1. By car (approximately 5 hours, excluding immigration clearance) . We can link up fellow campers who are driving. From there you may organise a car convoy. Please email camp@biblechurch.sg.
  2. By chartered coach, S$ 60 per pax for a round trip (inclusive of 2 lunches)
    6 June  Coach will depart CBC at 8.30am.  Lunch break at Yong Peng 
    10 June Coach will depart hotel at 11.30am.  Lunch break at Seremban.  
  3. By flight, please make your own arrangements 
What are the arrival and departure times?

All are encouraged to arrive by 3pm on Thursday, 6 June.  Camp will break  on Monday, 10 June at 11am.  

Do I need a passport to get into Malaysia?

Yes, you will need a passport with at least 6 months validity on the date of entry.

Do I need a visa to get into Malaysia?

Singapore Passport holders do not need a visa for entry into Malaysia. However, if you are holding a passport of a different nationality, please check with the Malaysian High Commission for the entry requirements.

Children's Programme

Is there a Children's Programme? 

Yes, for children between 4 to 12 years of age.

Speaker:  Ms Elizabeth Yao  

Children below 4 years old should join their parents as part of the main programme, or they may be accompanied by an adult to attend the Children's programme.

Youth Program

Will there be a Youth Programme?

No. Youths will participate in the theme talks.

Accommodation

Does the hotel have free internet access?

Yes, free internet access is available.

If I am a minor (below 18 years of age) and my parents are not going to camp, may I still attend?

Yes. You may attend the camp, provided a guardian has been nominated to look after you and your legal guardian has signed the Consent Form (Please note that a nominated guardian must be attending the camp):

What are the camp rates?
Room Type Fees Remarks
Single S$660 per adult Maximum 3 additional children. Up to one extra bed for children available at S$125
Twin Sharing S$500 per adult Maximum 2 additional children. Up to one extra bed for children available at S$125
Child with bed S$395 per child 6 - 11 years (Children below the age of 5 may attend free of charge)
Child without bed  S$270 per child 6 - 11 years (Children below the age of 5 may attend free of charge)
Upgrade to King Deluxe suite S$260 per room Rate is for the entire period, Only king-sized bed, No connecting room
Upgrade to King Premium suite S$320 per room Rate is for the entrie period, only king-sized bed, connecting twin room available 

This year, the church is abosrbing a portion of the camp fees & coach fares to ease the financial burden for our campers as we recognise the importance of the community coming together for spiritual growth and fellowship. 

The camp fees are higher due to the following reasons:

  • Overall increase in costs, including hotel rates in Malaysia
  • An unexpected rise in the Service Tax in Malaysia from March 2024
  • Last year's camp fee was calculated based on 4 days and 3 nights using pre-covid rates.  However, this year's camp will extend to 5 days and 4 nights.  

Are there special room rates for additional nights pre/post camp?

The hotel will make the following rates below available for camp goers. 

Single Room RM 280*  (breakfast included) 
Twin sharing RM 340*  (2 breakfast included) 
Extra bed RM 160*  (breakfast included)

 *subject to 8% Service Tax & tourism tax of RM10 per room per night.

Payment

Can I pay a deposit first?  Can I pay later?

No, to facilitate administrative processes, payment should be made in full to secure your booking. Details for payment will be sent to you after you have registered. The following payment modes are available:

  • PayNow (S60SS0009HDB1)
  • Cash 
Is there a discount for my domestic helper or anyone not attending the theme talks? 

No discount will be given. 

Is there financial assistance available for camp fees?

The camp committee can assist. Please speak with the Camp Chairman Alex Heng (HP 97854986), Asst Pastor Anthony Chok (88221683) or Tan Beng Hwee (HP 98165379).

What is the refund policy if I cannot attend the camp?

Full refund of fees paid will be given for withdrawals made on or before 30th April, 2024. Please speak with the Camp Chairman,  Alex Heng (HP 97854986), Asst Pastor Anthony Chok (HP 88221683) or Tan Beng Hwee (HP 98165379)  should you need to withdraw from the camp.

When does registration for the camp close?

The last day to register is 15 April 2024. Subsequent registrations will be subject to room availability as well as any fee adjustments made by the hotel.

Are meals provided?

Free & Easy 

Will there be opportunities to visit the surrounding area when we are at camp?

Yes. There will be a free and easy session on Sat 8 June afternoon and night.
